COSTS – The fee is set by Scouts Canada and covers membership from January 1st to
December 31st.  Our group meets from September to the end of May – when our permits at
our meeting places are available.  Membership enables youth to get a ‘member’ rate at
summer camps run by Scouts Canada.

Our main fundraiser is Annual Apple Day which is celebrated across Canada on the
weekend after Thanksgiving. We ask that all youth come out to help distribute the apples!!

The cost of the uniform varies from section to section.  Beavers – Vest; hat is optional.
Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, and Rovers – shirt only.  The group scarf, woggles and crests are
provided by 1st Erindale Scout Group and are presented at the youth’s investiture.
Ordering uniforms is done online at scoutshop.ca and is delivered to your door.

All registration is done online and paid by credit card. Youth can join anytime throughout
the year but you don’t want to miss anything!!
EXTRAS – All-Section camps are offered 3 times per year and are optional.  Fees range
from $15 to $100 per person and include accommodation, all meals, snacks and equipment.
ANYTHING ELSE? All our leaders are volunteers giving of their time so youth can have a
chance to do things they wouldn’t normally experience at school or at home.  If you think
Scouting may be for your youth, you are welcome to ‘try us out’ for 2 meetings.
