When: Meet on Wednesday Oct 24th. 6PM -> 8PM
Activity: Hike at Rattray Marsh Conservation Area
Where: Meet at Queenston public school.
Note: Bring a flashlight and water. Youth should dress for the weather.  We will try to carpool best we can, but parents should be prepared to drive (and are welcome to attend)

Apple Day

All Sections

October 11 to 13 marks Scouts Canada’s Annual Apple Day across Canada. 1st Erindale Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers are asked to participate, offering apples to the public to raise money for our Scout Group. All monies raised reduce camp and activity fees!

MEET AT WESTDALE MALL main entrance. Youth will be shuttled to locations.

Generally:

  • Youth MUST be in uniform and dressed for the outdoors as Apple Day takes place rain or shine.
  • Meet at Westdale Mall’s main entrance. Youth will be shuttled to locations.
  • Our locations are Westdale Mall, Rona, Tim Horton’s on Burnhamthorpe (main – southeast plaza –and drive-thru – northwest plaza).

Youth will be accompanied by a parent or a leader at all times

Fall Camp Reminder

All Sections, Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturer Scouts

Just a reminder that you don’t need to bring mats as
each cabin has enough mats for everyone.
You also don’t need to bring dishes. The group has
purchased dishes for all campers.
Remember to dress for the weather as all activities
are outside.

If you have any questions, email otherwise we
will see you on Friday at 6:00pm at St. Peter’s
Church (Dundas as Mississauga Road).

We will do our best to car pool but, as always,
parents should be prepared to drive.

Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

All Sections, Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Venturer Scouts

Join us on Saturday, September 22nd 9:30am to 12:00pm  to clean up our shorelines.

1st Erindale Scout Group has a planned clean up of the Credit River at Erindale Park.  All are welcome to help out. Sign up table will be located in front of the foot bridge in Erindale Park.

Garbage bags, recycling bags and gloves will be provided. Dress for the weather and wear proper footwear.
NO SANDALS.
A waiver must be signed to participate.  Waivers will be available at the sign up table.
Those under 18 must have a parent sign!
